Today’s comic opens with a joke that I like to tell my kids. And because the oldest are 7- and 5-years-old, this is exactly the kind of humor they enjoy. (I have to warn them not to repeat these sorts of jokes at school. While I’m sure they’d be a hit among their friends, I don’t want to face the inevitable backlash when teachers and parents find out I’m the source of their material).

I could use this space to talk about Rhesus Christ and his ministry, but you’re probably all familiar with his teachings, parables, and miracles from the simian scriptures. Most of them involve bananas.

Liches, as we all know from our “basement years” when we played Dungeons & Dragons, are undead wizards. What you didn’t learn from your Monstrous Manual was that liches are very real and can be found in every country that has wizards (except, interestingly enough, the United Kingdom, which has strict rules about this sort of thing owing to its esteemed School of Witchcraft and Wizardry).
